Hello RCHS Band Families,

ROCK-tober is here and our next competition, DCMI, is quickly approaching.  It will be a long day for the kids, and we need your help to provide lunch and dinner for our amazing musicians AND our families.  Please drop off food in the Band Room on Thursday, October 3rd from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.  There will be a cooler available on Thursday for any items that need refrigeration.  Contact Ellen Stotler (720-838-6330) if you have any questions or need to make other arrangements for food drop-off.  Thanks so much for all of your help keeping the band fueled for success this season.  You are so appreciated. 

Rock Canyon Band Boosters

Hello RCHS Band Families,

Our biggest fundraising opportunity for our RCHS Bands program is around the corner and we need your help! We need volunteers to work concessions for football and soccer games. It is a fun way to get to know other band families, earn some community service hours, and simply have fun behind the concession stand!

All games are at one of two stadiums and the location will be listed for each game on the sign-up:

For all football games, 16 volunteers are required by the district. We've listed 10 volunteer slots for the home side and 6 for the visitor side. If the lines are longer on one side, we may ask one or two volunteers to switch sides to help ease the customer flow. Thank you for your flexibility!

Also, anyone 14 and older may work in concessions to help out.  You can ask friends, family, siblings, etc to work with you to make your shift enjoyable.  Please just be sure to sign them up!  

Some reminders: Community service is available for high school kids 14 and older. No younger kids are allowed in the concession stand. Please tie back long hair, wear closed-toed shoes, and wear a Rock Canyon shirt if you have one!
