At the heart of the RCHS Band program are traditional concert band classes. Symphonic Band is the premier wind and percussion ensemble at RCHS. An audition is required for this ensemble that is comprised primarily of 10th through 12th graders. These students will have the opportunity to perform challenging music representative of a wide swath or classic and contemporary wind-band literature. In Symphonic Band students will explore the elements of quality musicmanship, encounter diverse repertoire, and develop the skills necessary to plan in an ensemble of their peers.
