At the heart of the RCHS Band program are traditional concert band classes. Concert Band is a developmental wind and percussion ensemble at RCHS, open to ninth through twelfth graders with previous band experience. These students have the opportunity to perform educational music representative of a wide swath of classic and contemporary wind-band literature. In Concert Band students will explore the elements of quality musicmanship, encounter diverse repertoire, and develop the skills necessary to plan in an ensemble of their peers.
