Our award-winning band program runs on the energy, talents, and generosity of our parents. Whether you donate food, help at a single event, or serve on the Booster Board, your time makes a real difference for our students. Every role matters—big or small—and all are welcome!
Volunteer for Concessions - A Fun Way to Fund Our Bands
Fall Concessions season is here—and it’s one of the most important ways we fund Rock Canyon Bands. Revenue from these games provides more than half of our annual fundraising income and benefits every band program—Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Winter Percussion, and Winter Guard.
Every pretzel, soda, and hot dog you serve helps keep our program thriving. That’s why we ask each family to volunteer for at least 3 games per year.

Managers help oversee the stand, handle basic organization, and keep things running smoothly. We’ll provide training—if you can lead with a smile, you can manage! Small but Mighty Teams: Soccer, flag football, and other events at Halftime Help Stadium only need 1 manager and 2 helpers per game.
Who Can Help: High school students (14+) can earn community service hours—log in Helper/Helper for credit.
Who Can’t Be in the Stand: No children under 14—sorry, no exceptions.
Safety & Appearance: Tie back long hair, wear closed-toed shoes, skip necklaces/bracelets/dangly earrings, and cover any open wounds.
Cancellations: If you must cancel within 3 days of your shift, please call/text the coordinator directly.
Rock Canyon Spirit: Wear your RCHS shirt if you have one and enjoy the camaraderie of working alongside fellow band families.
